The First Choice Reporting was established in 1997 by Kirsty Schouweiler, a court-registered journalist. Three years later, his sister, Crystal Edwards, joined the company. The mother's brief advice at that time was "It's okay to cherish our customers and teams." The service and a positive attitude were developed from the original office of Orlando, Florida into a global network of 22 offices across the state and of affiliated companies and court reporters.
