MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A woman has died after her SUV went off the road in Marion County and hit a road sign, a fence, and a tree.
The crash happened on County Road 328 Thursday morning, just west of SW 140th Ave. in the Ocala area.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the woman was driving her SUV west along the highway when she drove across the road and hit a road sign, then a fence and then slammed into a tree.
The driver was taken to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.
FHP has not released her name.
