ORLANDO, Fla. – Veteran Orlando attorney Dan Newlin has been selected by the Trump campaign to host a political fundraiser at his home for the 45th president’s reelection bid.

In an exclusive interview with News 6 aboard his company jet Thursday, Newlin said he was “deeply honored” that former President Donald Trump chose his home for the April 10 event.

“I’ve been working very closely with the Trump campaign, I’m a big supporter,” Newlin said. “When it was brought up that they’d like to have an event in Orlando, they said Dan would you like to host it and I said absolutely. This has been an ongoing process and we’re really excited about making this happen.”

Newlin told News 6 that 150 guests will attend the event expected to generate a multi-million dollar night.

“It is so important that we raise as much money as we can to help support President Trump,” Newlin told News 6.

Newlin said he is confident the November election will see Trump as the victor.

“There’s an 8-month or 9-month runway in front of us‚” Newlin told News 6. “There’s a lot of work that has to be done and I’m going to give all of my energy to do whatever is necessary to get victory for President Trump in November.”
