Here's what to know about the deal tourism marketing agency Experience Kissimmee has announced with a club in one of the world's top soccer leagues.

Local English soccer aficionados may soon recognize a familiar brand while watching the action across the pond.

Tourism marketing agency Experience Kissimmee announced June 11 it has secured a multi-year partnership with Brighton & Hove Albion FC, or BHAFC, a club in England's Premier League — the highest level of the English football league system.

Under the deal, Experience Kissimmee has secured promotion rights as a sleeve partner for the Premier League team, as well as BHAFC's women's team and its three academy teams — meaning the agency's branding will appear on the sleeve of the respective jerseys for all of the club's teams. Brighton & Hove Women Football Club competes in the Women's Super League, which is the top women's league in England.

The announcement details additional components of the partnership, including "cross-promotions with relevant travel trade club partners that will maximize outreach and engagement within the tourism and sports sectors."

The deal also features in-stadium branded signage for Experience Kissimmee, as well as appearances by former and current players for Brighton & Hove Albion in Kissimmee.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed. Snickers UK, a workwear company, was previously the club's sleeve partner.

The release notes the club is the 12th-most-watched team across the five major European soccer leagues, with "a total TV audience of 195 million."

"We are thrilled to partner with Brighton & Hove Albion, a beloved English club in the U.K. [United Kingdom]," said DT Minich, President and CEO of Experience Kissimmee, in a prepared statement. "This collaboration is exciting for us, as the U.K. is the number one long-haul market to Kissimmee. Additionally, BHAFC's audience profile, which includes significant followings in the U.K., Canada, and Brazil, aligns perfectly with our key international markets."

Russ Wood, the soccer club's head of commercial, noted in a prepared statement the sleeve partnership is a three-year deal and called Experience Kissimmee "an exciting partner with a worldwide presence."

"Our values and visions align and, with our significant presence already in the U.S., it is the perfect partnership," Wood said. "We are looking forward to promoting Kissimmee as a stunning holiday destination to our global fanbase and hope many will have the opportunity to experience a visit."

Both Brighton & Hove Albion's men's team in the Premiere League and women's team in the Women's Super League are in their offseason, with their respective 2023-2024 seasons having ended in May.

The men's team finished 11th in the Premier League, and its 2024-2025 schedule will be announced later this month. The women's team finished 9th in the Women's Super League.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Experience Kissimmee has invested in sports-related partnerships overseas. For instance, in 2022 the agency entered into a sponsorship agreement with NFL UK for NFL London games that year.

Metro Orlando is coming off of a record level of international visitation in 2023, as well. It had 6.13 million international visitors last year, up 25% from 2022's 4.9 million, according to the region's tourism marketing bureau Visit Orlando. Canada, the United Kingdom and Brazil are the top three international origin destinations for travelers to the region.
