ORLANDO, Florida (WANE via STORYFUL) – Talk about a vacation-ruining moment. Imagine you’re at “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” you’ve spent thousands of dollars to be there, and now you have to contend with severe weather.

That still didn’t stop parkgoers from heading to Walt Disney World’s EPCOT.

Strong winds, lightning, heavy rain and a brief tornado threatened central Florida on Wednesday, April 3, according to the National Weather Service.

Footage posted by @DisneyFoodBlog on X shows gusty winds and heavy rain battering visitors of EPCOT. DisneyFoodBlog is a website, YouTube channel, and more dedicated to bringing Disney travelers food and information.

The NWS issued a tornado watch valid until 5 p.m. on Wednesday and said wind gusts up to 70 mph, half-inch hail, and “a couple of tornadoes” were expected on that day.
